OurNest pregnancy companion

The challenge

Pregnancy overloads couples with things to remember, track and coordinate — and most apps treat the partner as a passive viewer. OurNest needed to give both people a shared but role-appropriate space that lowers the mental load, without turning private health data into something over-shared.

What we did

We built an Expo React Native app around four destinations: Today for what needs attention now, Journey for the current stage and preserved memories, Plan for medicines, appointments, questions, documents and shared tasks, and Together for partner participation and sharing controls — with Redux-backed plan interactions and the mother in control of exactly what's shared.

Results

• A four-tab space that separates the mother's and partner's roles without fragmenting the journey
• Care, appointments, documents and tasks organised in one place to cut coordination load
• Intentional, mother-controlled health sharing — private by default
